Christmas Eve

Last night was spent with my dear friends, the Beckwiths. We attended a service at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church that the children, Margaret Riley and Evan, loved. We then had lasagna for dinner...you can see it all over Evan's face in the photo. As you can see, the Beckwith's have my work hanging in their living room. Lee Monts is a Christian artist who primarily creates contemporary acrylic paintings on canvas, paper and board. A native of Chapin, South Carolina, his formal education is in geology. He has been a resident of Columbia, South Carolina, since 1987 and is employed full time by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Lee began painting in 2002 and has had no formal art training. He considers his talent to be a gift from God and hopes that his art brings glory to the Lord.
