Angel's Trumpet

You have probably noticed there have been no garden photos lately...well, that is because the garden has been suffering the late summer blues. My Angel's Trumpets have finally started blooming though. These are really interesting...the buds start out a really deep lemon yellow, then turn almost white, and then open salmon and then blush pinker as they age. The photo has been edited with a "painting" effect. Enjoy!

Lee Monts is a Christian artist who primarily creates contemporary acrylic paintings on canvas, paper and board. A native of Chapin, South Carolina, his formal education is in geology. He has been a resident of Columbia, South Carolina, since 1987 and is employed full time by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Lee began painting in 2002 and has had no formal art training. He considers his talent to be a gift from God and hopes that his art brings glory to the Lord.
