SCWS Jury Results - I'm In!

"Abstracting the Respite of My Childhood" (18" x 18") juried into the SC Watermedia Society Show that will run October 2 - November 21. Out of 171 entries, 75 juried in. Now to get it framed to specifications and delivered to Rock Hill. Glad to be accepted into this important show!

Artist's Profile

Lee Monts is a Christian artist who primarily creates contemporary acrylic paintings on canvas, paper and board. A native of Chapin, South Carolina, his formal education is in geology. He has been a resident of Columbia, South Carolina, since 1987 and is employed full time by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Lee began painting in 2002 and has had no formal art training. He considers his talent to be a gift from God and hopes that his art brings glory to the Lord.
