Since Someone Asked

I submitted five paintings for the upcoming Verner Awards Art Sale that will be held on April 16. Hopefully they will all be included in the show. The ones submitted are:

Also, the pre-auction for the violins will be held this Thursday night at City Art in the Vista between 6:00 and 9:00 PM. The auction will close at the end of intermission during the Symphony on Saturday night. I hope the violin will find a good home! Bids start at $300.00!

As you can see, I have completed the design of the platter for the upcoming auction to benefit the SC AIDS Benefit Foundation. I thought I would do something similar to the Violin project since both events will take place in April. The Bible Verse is Numbers 6: 24-26. By the way, my birthday is 6/24 and my Father's birthday is 6/26. While the design is very simple, I hope it will bring glory to God.

New Creative Challenge

A blank "canvas" for the upcoming Dining With Friends Fundraiser...a heavy ceramic platter. This will be my fourth in five years, but the previous ones were fine china dinner plates. As you know from my prior posts, I happen to like squares! We will see what happens.
