New Large Painting

"Nature's Witness" SOLD

I have been working on this painting since the July 4th weekend. I wish you could see this one in person, as the photo doesn't quite capture the depth. This is a "commissioned" painting inspired by the fabrics in the home of one of the designers at Verve. I hope she loves it! If not, hopefully Verve will find a place for it in another home. They just placed two more of my paintings, so I am thrilled about that!

Lee Monts is a Christian artist who primarily creates contemporary acrylic paintings on canvas, paper and board. A native of Chapin, South Carolina, his formal education is in geology. He has been a resident of Columbia, South Carolina, since 1987 and is employed full time by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Lee began painting in 2002 and has had no formal art training. He considers his talent to be a gift from God and hopes that his art brings glory to the Lord.
