"Turning Point"

Sometimes I just paint. This is very different, but I like it. I see an abstract stallion standing still and looking back. The back right leg is in the picture (long drip), the left back leg is in the fog so you can't see it and the two front legs are just out of the painting. I like the tree form along the left hand side of the painting. Anyway, that is what I see...just call me crazy.

Lee Monts is a Christian artist who primarily creates contemporary acrylic paintings on canvas, paper and board. A native of Chapin, South Carolina, his formal education is in geology. He has been a resident of Columbia, South Carolina, since 1987 and is employed full time by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Lee began painting in 2002 and has had no formal art training. He considers his talent to be a gift from God and hopes that his art brings glory to the Lord.
