Currently on the Easel

This is a 30" x 40" that I have worked on this weekend. It has great texture. I have only used two Golden Acrylic colors...Raw Umber and Pthalo Blue Green Shade. It needs a little more work but I want to keep it fairly simple. Possible titles are "Where I Am Sure to Follow" or "Shore to Follow"....we'll see what turns out this coming week.

Lee Monts is a Christian artist who primarily creates contemporary acrylic paintings on canvas, paper and board. A native of Chapin, South Carolina, his formal education is in geology. He has been a resident of Columbia, South Carolina, since 1987 and is employed full time by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Lee began painting in 2002 and has had no formal art training. He considers his talent to be a gift from God and hopes that his art brings glory to the Lord.
